In most cases our vinyl kits can be applied and removed without any damage to your guitar body or the finish on your guitar body. However, in a few cases, removal of the vinyl kit can result in residue and/or damage to the clear coat on the body. We do not recommend leaving the kit on your guitar for long periods of time. We also do not recommend applying the kits to vintage or high value instruments. For best results apply the kits to brand new finishes and store in cool temperatures. Vinyl and/or heat will accelerate the breakdown of many clear coats that normally occurs over time.
